In 2023, the Eastern Economic Forum was visited by over 7 thousand people from 62 countries, and agreements worth almost 4 trillion rubles were signed on the sidelines of the business platform. Representatives of government and business summed up the development of the Far East over the past ten years, and also discussed strengthening cooperation between Russia and Asia in the context of Western sanctions pressure. The central event of the EEF has traditionally been the plenary session with the participation of President Vladimir Putin. The head of state spoke about new infrastructure projects planned in the Far Eastern Federal District and called on businesses to invest more actively within the country. What else the forum participants talked about is in the RT material.
