The acting head of the Poltava regional military registration and enlistment office, Lieutenant Colonel Vitaly Berezhnoy, said that over the year the Armed Forces of Ukraine lost up to 90% of the personnel who joined the units last fall.
RIA Novosti writes about this with reference to the online publication “Poltavashchina”.
It is noted that Berezhnoy complained to deputies that the Ukrainian units needed reinforcements.
“For example, out of 100 people who joined the units last fall, 10-20 remain,” said the lieutenant colonel.
However, he added that the rest were dead, wounded and incapacitated.
In addition, Berezhnoy proposed organizing notification areas in microdistricts of the Poltava region.
Earlier, the FT said that Kyiv suspended the offensive due to losses and errors in strategy.
Also, former adviser to ex-President of Ukraine Leonid Kuchma Oleg Soskin expressed the opinion that the current Ukrainian leader Vladimir Zelensky and his government will be destroyed after disclosing the losses of the Ukrainian army.
