Ninth grade student Maria Andreeva, who worked on a team of Rostov schoolchildren preparing the ArcCube-01 cubesat, attended the launch ceremony of the Soyuz MS-24 spacecraft at the invitation of Russian President Vladimir Putin.
“At the cosmodrome, Vladimir Putin presented Maria with a rocket launch control key and invited her to attend the launch of the Soyuz MS-24 spacecraft, this is how dreams come true!” – says a message from Roscosmos.
Earlier it was reported that Andreeva came to Baikonur after Vladimir Putin invited her to the launch of the Soyuz MS-24 manned spacecraft. The girl got acquainted with the facilities of the cosmodrome and even took part in a press conference of the spaceship crew.
On September 1, the schoolgirl attended the open lesson “Talking about Important Things,” where she told the Russian President about her passion for astronautics and satellite construction.
