Winner of the Russian Football Cup as part of Dynamo Moscow, Erik Yakhimovich, believes that the match of the eighth round of the national championship with Paris NN Nizhny Novgorod turned out to be nervous.
“For me as a player it’s a tragedy to concede at the end of the match. I just wouldn’t sleep at night. “Dynamo plays valid games,” Match TV quotes Yakhimovich.
In his opinion, the capital’s team “gained more than a goal.”
Dynamo had more possession of the ball and had more approaches to the goal. Naturally, opening the defense is harder than launching a counterattack. “Dynamo had to play according to the score,” added Jachimovich.
The meeting ended with the score 1:1. Dynamo scored 15 points and ranks second in the RPL standings. Paris NN has 11 points and is in eighth position.
Earlier, Dynamo striker Fedor Smolov spoke about the draw with Paris NN in the match of the eighth round of the RPL.
