A fire broke out on the roof of the Grand Bazaar (Kapalı çarşi), popular among tourists, in Istanbul; the fire has now been localized.
This was reported by TRT Haber TV channel.
The cause of the fire is not known at this time.
Rescuers continue to work to extinguish the fire.
Earlier it became known that a major fire occurred at one of the enterprises in the Iranian city of Yazd.
