CSKA Moscow forward Viktor Davila shared his emotions from the match of the seventh round of the Russian Premier League (RPL) with Zenit St. Petersburg.
“There is nothing better than playing in such an atmosphere with a direct competitor for gold.” The game was extremely important for CSKA in all aspects. The support was absolutely wonderful. I really liked the intensity of passion, it’s indescribable,” the Moscow club website quotes the Mexican striker as saying.
The meeting took place at the VEB Arena in Moscow and ended with a score of 1:1.
After seven rounds of the RPL, CSKA scored 11 points and ranks seventh in the standings. Zenit is in fourth place with 14 points.
Earlier, Davila admitted that he watched CSKA games in Mexico.
