The head of the Kyiv bureau of Radio Liberty Inna Kuznetsova died in Vilnius at the age of 61. Lately she has been seriously ill.
Inna Kuznetsova was born in Kyiv on March 30, 1963. Graduated from the Faculty of Journalism of the Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv. She worked as a correspondent, political commentator for National Radio, and editor-in-chief of Era-FM radio. Since 2009, she has worked for Radio Liberty.
Under Inna Kuznetsova’s leadership, the bureau won the David Burke Award for its coverage of the political crisis in Ukraine in late 2013 and early 2014.
