A Russian Emergency Situations Ministry plane delivered a shipment of humanitarian aid to flood-stricken Libya.
This is stated in the official Telegram channel of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Russian Federation.
“By decision of Russian President Vladimir Putin, the Russian government, by order of the head of the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations, Alexander Kurenkov, Russian rescuers handed over humanitarian aid to the residents of Libya,” the department wrote.
Earlier, the Russian ambassador to the republic, Aidar Aganin, said that the Russian side would send several planes to Libya.
