Former chief analyst of the Japanese Foreign Ministry, visiting professor at Doshisha University, Masaru Sato, said in an interview with Nihon Keizai that Ukraine is hiding data on the country’s population.
RIA Novosti writes about this.
At the same time, according to him, Ukrainians as a people are “in danger of extinction.”
In addition, Sato noted that the last time a population census was conducted in Ukraine was in 2001.
“What happened since then is unknown. And now this is a state secret,” said the political scientist.
Earlier, the acting governor of the Kherson region, Alexander Malkevich, announced an unfolding humanitarian catastrophe in Kherson.
Also, former Prime Minister of Ukraine Mykola Azarov noted that by the end of the year, the losses of the Ukrainian Armed Forces will exceed half a million people.
