Krasnodar goalkeeper Matvey Safonov spoke about the miss of Akhmat striker Vladimir Ilyin in the match of the eighth round of the RPL.
“As much as I wouldn’t like to say that we should have won, Akhmat had a lot of pretty good moments, for example, Ilyin’s shot. I don’t understand how the ball didn’t go into the goal in this episode,” Match TV quotes Safonov.
The meeting in Grozny at the Akhmat Arena stadium ended with the score 1:1.
Akhmat scored 11 points and rose to ninth place in the RPL standings. Krasnodar continues to lead the championship with 18 points.
