First Deputy Secretary of State of the Security Council of Belarus Pavel Muraveiko, in an interview with the STV channel, said that military-wide exercises will be held in the country at the end of September.

He said that national programs, which are carried out as part of the training programs for the Armed Forces, other troops and military formations, include a classic set of training events – platoon, company, battalion, brigade.
They end with large-scale exercises on the scale of the Armed Forces, in which all elements of the countries’ military organization take part and territorial defense is involved, Muraveiko added.
According to him, the exercises are planned for the period from approximately September 20 to 26.
On September 6, the Chief of the CSTO Joint Staff, Colonel General Anatoly Sidorov, said that the participants in the Collective Security Treaty Organization exercises in Belarus completed the assigned tasks.
On September 8, it was reported that Russia and Belarus held joint exercises on biological security and operational response in Minsk.
