Managing Director of NPO Android Technology Evgeniy Dudorov said in an interview with RIA Novosti that kamikaze drones with folding wings “BAS-80”, assembled from composite materials, were transferred to the military for testing in a special operation zone in Ukraine.
RIA Novosti reports about this.
“We gave the Tsar’s Wolves a couple of our BAS-80s,” Dudorov said.
According to him, the weight of the drone is 1.7 kg, and thanks to the design with folding wings, it can be placed in a tube, in which it is carried by the operator.
Earlier, Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin called for systematizing and scaling the production of drones.
