Congresswoman Nancy Mace said it is not yet known where the missing F-35 fighter jet may be located in South Carolina.
She wrote about this in social networks X after a meeting with the military.
At the same time, Mace noted that this was one of the shortest meetings she had ever had.
“Because — guess what — none of the US Marines who were sent to brief me had any answers,” the congresswoman said.
Earlier it was reported that the United States was looking for the crashed F-35B fighter.
There was also information that two pilots died as a result of a light aircraft collision in the United States.
