White House National Security Council Strategic Communications Coordinator John Kirby said that the Ukrainian Armed Forces have received from the United States everything they need to carry out a counteroffensive.
“Everything that the Ukrainian military said they needed to carry out this counteroffensive, they received from the United States,” RIA Novosti quotes him as saying.
In addition, the Ukrainian Armed Forces also received everything they needed from their allies, Kirby added.
A White House spokesman called Washington’s assistance to Kyiv “unprecedented” and “historic.”
Earlier, Vladimir Zelensky admitted that he does not know whether the Ukrainian army is capable of achieving success in an offensive before the end of 2023.
Russian President Vladimir Putin said Kyiv lost 71,000 people during the counteroffensive.
