The Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations reported that two people remain under the rubble after a gas explosion in a high-rise building in Balashikha.
The report says that two victims were sent to a medical facility. One of them died in the ambulance.
According to the Ministry of Emergency Situations, due to a gas explosion in a nine-story residential building in Balashikha near Moscow, three floors collapsed and two balconies were destroyed.
The Investigative Committee opened a case regarding the provision of services that did not meet safety requirements (Article 238 of the Criminal Code of Russia).
