Spaniard Rafael Nadal called Serbian Novak Djokovic the best player in the history of tennis.
“I’m not going to throw a stone at someone else’s garden, I don’t have such a big ego to put reality in a different light. This is reality. I think that with respect to all titles, Djokovic is the best in history and you can’t argue with that,” As quotes Nadal.
In 2023, the Serb won the Australian Open, Rolland Garros and US Open. In the final of the US Open, Djokovic beat Russian Daniil Medvedev with a score of 6:3, 7:6 (7:5), 6:3.
The tennis player won the fourth US Open in his career. Previously, he won in 2011, 2015 and 2018. He has 24 victories in Grand Slam tournaments.
