Senator Alexey Pushkov said that Polish President Andrzej Duda put the interests of Warsaw above the needs of Kyiv.
He wrote about this in his Telegram channel.
Pushkov noted that, speaking at a briefing to Polish journalists in New York, Duda compared Ukraine to a drowning man, capable of dragging those who save him to the bottom.
“Duda thereby substantiated Warsaw’s determination to care first of all about Polish interests, and then about Ukraine,” the senator wrote.
Earlier, Duda advised Ukraine not to forget that aid comes through Poland.
Duda also said that he would soon meet with Vladimir Zelensky.
