Combat aircraft of the Ukrainian Armed Forces regularly have to abandon combat missions and return to base due to the operation of Russian electronic warfare systems, which turn off their electronics.
RIA Novosti reports about this.
It is noted that Russian electronic warfare systems are currently capable of completely suppressing the avionics of Ukrainian fighters and attack aircraft.
“As a result, pilots of the Armed Forces of Ukraine regularly have to abandon combat missions due to failure of on-board systems and turn around, returning to base,” the message says.
Earlier, the Russian Armed Forces destroyed Azov attack aircraft* in the Krasnolimansk direction.
It was also reported that the Russian military had established a foothold on the northern outskirts of Kleshcheevka in the DPR.
* “Azov” is an organization recognized as terrorist by a decision of the Supreme Court of the Russian Federation dated August 2, 2022.
