Russians’ opinions on the possible performance of athletes at the Olympics in a neutral status are divided. For example, Svetlana Ishmuratova spoke out sharply against it and called such an act a betrayal of the homeland. Alexander Legkov, in turn, considered the boycott of the Games wrong, and Olga Bogoslovskaya emphasized that no matter in what capacity the athletes go to the competition, they will remain citizens of their country.
