The State Court of Auditors (TCE-RS) created, this week, a specialized working group to assist public managers in municipalities in Rio Grande do Sul affected by the floods. Among the actions are the preparation of a booklet with objective questions and answers, in addition to the designation of an email and exclusive telephone numbers for guidance.
President of the institution, advisor Alexandre Postal, determined the immediate mobilization of the technical area and administrative sectors of TCE-RS to guide municipal administrators. According to him, the objective of the action is to streamline guidelines as much as possible to speed up infrastructure works. “It is necessary to rebuild the affected regions and the court is an essential partner for managers”, he emphasized.

One of the highlights of the initiative is the creation of an emergency and public calamity booklet. It is a basic guide with direct, objective and practical information for public managers, containing guidelines to speed up infrastructure recovery actions. The material was made available for download by the entity.
To ensure clarification of doubts, TCE-RS established an exclusive email (email protected) and telephone numbers (51) 3214.9802 and 3214-9805. They are communication channels for information and guidelines essential for the recovery of municipalities. The institution also implemented complementary actions such as the suspension of procedural deadlines until September 24th.
