British Deputy Prime Minister Oliver Dowden, during a speech at the UN General Assembly, said that London, if necessary, would support Kyiv for years in its confrontation with Russia.
RIA Novosti writes about this.
“Until this (end of the conflict – RT) happens, Great Britain will stand on the side of Ukraine,” he said.
Dowden noted that London will support Kyiv, no matter the cost, for weeks, months, and if necessary, for years.
Earlier, the iNews newspaper, citing a high-ranking British representative, reported that Russian and British diplomats over the past 1.5 years have held several meetings on international security issues against the backdrop of the Ukrainian conflict.
On September 12, British Chief of General Staff Patrick Sanders said that the Ukrainian Armed Forces (AFU) are losing 40% of drones due to pilot errors.
