Leading specialist at the Phobos weather center, Mikhail Leus, said that September 23 in St. Petersburg was record warm in the entire history of observations.
He spoke about this in his Telegram channel.
“The exact value of the new daily record maximum air temperature in St. Petersburg for September 23 is now +25.3°,” the message says.
He also called this temperature the highest recorded in St. Petersburg this September.
Earlier, the head of the Meteo forecasting center, Alexander Shuvalov, said that Muscovites were expecting the warmest September weekend in ten years.
