Sobolev’s masterpiece, Maksimenko’s rescue, Tyukavin and Promes’ missed chances: Spartak beat Dynamo in the 9th round of the RPL

Spartak beat Dynamo on its home field in the ninth round of the Russian Football Championship. The author of the only goal was Theo Bongonda, who scored in the seventh minute after a magnificent pass from the flank by Alexander Sobolev. In total, the teams made 35 shots at each other’s goal, but were unable to score any more. A series of spectacular saves were performed by Alexander Maksimenko, who during the break replaced the injured Alexander Selikhov. And at the very end, Quincy Promes failed to convert two one-on-one opportunities with Anton Shunin.
