Budapest is convinced that new packages of European Union sanctions against Moscow are not needed.
This was announced by Hungarian Foreign Minister Peter Szijjártó after a meeting with Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov.
As TASS reports, according to him, anti-Russian sanctions cause more harm to Europe than to Russia.
“We believe that new packages of sanctions are not needed,” Szijjarto emphasized.
He also said that sanctions against Russia have failed.
On September 18, Bloomberg reported that a new package of sanctions against Russia is planned to be announced in the first half of October.
