Involved in recent scandals that show students reproducing obscene gestures in university games, Universidade Santo Amaro (Unisa) and Universidade São Camilo began to announce measures against students.
Unisa expelled 15 medical students who participated in a collective masturbation session during a university volleyball game. The act took place in April, but the video went viral on social media this week.

At São Camilo, medical students who participated in the “butt wall”, also in April, during university games, were suspended indefinitely. The students who were identified will have to carry out voluntary work in entities that will still be indicated by the university.
In a statement, São Camilo explained why it did not expel the students. “We decided to avoid adopting extreme measures, which could cause injustice, in accordance with what governs us as an educational institution”, states the text. “It would be unfair for us to expel just a few and leave others who could have participated in these actions, but did not appear in the images released.”
The Ministry of Education (MEC) officially notified Unisa and São Camilo University to inform them of the measures taken against students and ordered the institutions to adopt actions that curb the conduct seen at university games.
