NATO Forces in Kosovo (KFOR) announced their readiness to take part in the Kosovo police operation in the north of the region.
It is noted that the forces condemned the attack on the Kosovo police.
“KFOR continues to closely monitor the situation in Bansko, its troops are present in the area and are ready to respond if necessary,” RIA Novosti quoted a statement.
Earlier it became known that the Kosovo police shot dead a man who broke into the Banjska monastery.
It is alleged that the man was allegedly one of those who attacked police officers at night in the north of the region.
