Again
Marcos Soares Moreira, a coup plotter who participated in the January 8 assault, who had been released on condition of complying with precautionary measures and wearing an electronic anklet, was arrested again last Friday.
Moreira published a video on his social networks attacking the STF magistrates. “I don’t care whether I’m here or in there. But I will never bow down to you, bandits, who have the power of the pen in your hand, but who are bandits. Alexandre de Moraes, Rosa Weber, all of you are bandits, vagabonds “said the coup plotter.
In his order for Moreira’s arrest, magistrate Alexandre de Moraes recalled that he was prohibited from using social networks. “Even being aware of this prohibition and demonstrating total contempt for Justice, the accused published two videos on the social network TikTok, in which he attacked this Court and uttered several insults to the honor of the magistrates that comprise it. In one of publications, calls on protesters to take to the streets, on October 12, 2023, ‘against this absurd agenda that this Justice proposes to vote to liberate the murder and homicide of babies.'”
