Russian forward of the New York Rangers Artemi Panarin suffered a lower body injury.
The hockey player will not be able to take part in training on September 26, reported on the official account of the National Hockey League (NHL) club on Twitter.
Panarin is ranked 32nd in the ranking of the best active NHL players according to NHL Network. The athlete has been playing for the Rangers since 2019. The Russian has 92 (29 + 63) points in 82 matches in the 2022/23 season. He became the team’s top scorer and assister in the regular season last season.
Previously, Panarin made it clear that he was impressed by the ideas and coaching plans of the new team coach Peter Laviolette.
