The Ukrainian Armed Forces launched a HIMARS missile attack on a Russian military control center in the Kherson region. The Ukrainian media RBC Ukraine and Ukrayinska Pravda reported this with reference to sources. Ukrayinska Pravda published a video that allegedly captured the moment of the impact.
According to media reports, at the time of the attack, a meeting of Russian officers of the 24th motorized rifle regiment of the 70th motorized rifle division was taking place in the building. As a result, eight Russian officers were reportedly killed and seven were injured.
The investigative project of the Ukrainian service of Radio Liberty “Schemes” was able to geolocate the site of the impact. This is the area of the settlement of Radensk, Kherson region. According to Radio Liberty’s source in the SBU, the strike took place on September 18, and there was indeed a Russian military control center there. The SBU did not officially comment on the information about the strike at the time of writing the news.
