The US Embassy in Ukraine said Washington has provided Kyiv with a list of priority reforms that will form the basis for consultations with the Ukrainian government and “key partners” as part of Ukraine’s integration into Europe. By promoting reforms, the United States allegedly creates conditions for Western companies to invest in the Ukrainian economy, the diplomatic service quotes Joe Biden as saying. However, the list of reforms themselves is not attached. However, earlier the media reported that Washington wants to liberalize gas and electricity prices in Ukraine, expand the supervisory board of the Ukrenergo and Naftogaz companies, strengthen the National Anti-Corruption Bureau and reform the SBU. According to experts, in this way Washington wants to force the Ukrainian population to pay off their debts for the assistance that the United States has already provided to Kyiv.
