The Federal Police (PF) launched, on the morning of this Wednesday (27), another phase of Operation Lesa Pátria that investigates those involved in the coup acts of January 8th.
Three preventive arrest warrants and ten search and seizure warrants are being carried out in investigations in four states: São Paulo, Paraná, Minas Gerais and Goiás. The actions were authorized by Minister Alexandre de Moraes, of the Federal Supreme Court (STF).
To date, two preventive arrest warrants have been served in São Paulo. One of the targets is Aildo Francisco Lima, who broadcast live on social media during the invasion of the STF, in the chair of minister Alexandre de Moraes.
Basília Batista was also arrested in São Paulo this Wednesday. She was arrested on January 8, on the day of the coup, but was released by the PF.
The third target of an arrest warrant is a woman residing in the Federal District, who has not yet been located.
In a note, the PF states that the facts investigated “constitute, in theory, the crimes of violent abolition of the Democratic Rule of Law, coup d’état, qualified damage, criminal association, incitement to crime, destruction and deterioration or destruction of specially protected property “.

The PF carries out Operation Lesa Pátria on a permanent basis and has so far recorded 81 arrest warrants, 287 search and seizure warrants and 17 investigations opened.
