The head of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, Kirill Budanov, in an interview with the Wall Street Journal, said that the Ukrainian Armed Forces are advancing mainly on foot.
“Unfortunately, most of our offensive at the moment is on foot,” he said.
Earlier, Forbes military columnist David Ax said that due to the lack of military equipment, the Ukrainian Armed Forces are massively creating improvised BMP-1LB combat vehicles, which have low speed and are armed with one machine gun.
On September 27, former American intelligence officer Scott Ritter said that the Russian Armed Forces had seized the initiative at the front in the special military operation zone.
