A strong explosion occurred at one of the warehouses in Tashkent on the night of September 28, reports the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Uzbekistan.
“There was a report of an explosion and subsequent fire that occurred in one of the warehouses located on the territory of the Stroitel array in the Sergeli district of Tashkent,” the message says.
16 fire brigades were involved in extinguishing the fire.
According to the country’s Ministry of Health, there were casualties as a result of the explosion.
On September 25, in Nagorno-Karabakh, an explosion occurred in a gas storage facility near the Stepanakert-Askeran highway.
At least 125 people died, their bodies were transported to Armenia, identification has not yet begun.
