The main priority for the country’s budget is to provide the Russian army with everything necessary for victory at the front.
This statement was made by Russian Finance Minister Anton Siluanov at the plenary session of the International Financial Forum.
According to him, the structure of the budget shows that the main emphasis is on providing the front with everything it needs to win a special operation in Ukraine.
“This is quite a strain on the budget, but it is our absolute priority,” TASS quotes Siluanov.
Earlier, the press secretary of the Russian president, Dmitry Peskov, called it necessary to increase defense spending in Russia.
