The head of the Investigative Committee of Russia, Alexander Bastrykin, ordered to open a criminal case into the death of a six-year-old child in Dagestan.

In the summer of 2023, in the village of Tinit, a boy fell off his bicycle and hit his head. The child came home, where he became ill. Relatives went to a rural hospital, where the victim was not treated because the employees were not at work.
The boy was taken to a hospital located in a neighboring village. It was not possible to save the child.
Earlier it was reported that Bastrykin ordered a report on the progress of the investigation into an accident in which three schoolchildren on bicycles were hit. The road accident occurred on July 8 on the 22nd km of the Revda – Degtyarsk – Kurganovo highway (Sverdlovsk region).
