Russian boxer Murat Gassiev told how he reacted to Swede Otto Wallin’s refusal to shake hands.

“I took his decision normally, it’s everyone’s choice. Some people shake hands, some don’t. I showed respect to him, as I did to all my opponents. But for some reason he didn’t do this. I wasn’t offended by him. It was just a little unusual,” Gassiev said.
He also noted that each opponent is difficult in his own way and he cannot call Wallin the most serious opponent. According to the boxer, the fight will be interesting.
After weighing, the Russian’s weight was 98 kg, and the Swede’s was 107.75 kg. The winner of the fight will take second place in the International Boxing Federation rankings.
The fight will take place at the Betting League tournament. IBA Champions Night” September 30 in Belek (Türkiye).
Previously, Gassiev and Wallin did not shake hands at the weigh-in procedure before the fight.
