Two children were injured in a monkey attack in a residential area of the Japanese city of Nakagawa in Fukuoka Prefecture on the island of Kyushu.
RIA Novosti reports this with reference to NHK.
According to the TV channel, the animal entered one of the crowbars and bit a five-year-old child in the lower back.
Some time later, it became known that a monkey had attacked a four-year-old child who was playing in the yard near the house.
There is no threat to the children’s lives. Police are asking local residents to exercise caution.
Earlier, Pavel, a resident of the city of Vilyuchinsk in Kamchatka, told RT how he escaped from a bear in a tree.
It was also reported that a female walrus attacked a rubber boat of Russian travelers in the Franz Josef Land area.
