Russia itself, taking into account practical expediency, will determine who will represent it at the November APEC summit in San Francisco.
This statement was made by the Russian Ambassador to the United States Anatoly Antonov.
“We ourselves will determine who will travel from us to San Francisco, based on practical expediency, as soon as we receive the invitation,” TASS quotes the ambassador.
Earlier, Antonov said that Russia still has not received an invitation from the United States to the APEC summit.
Also, US State Department spokesman Matt Miller said that Washington does not expect Russian President Vladimir Putin to attend the APEC summit in San Francisco.
