Former chief CIA Russia analyst George Beebe said that a continuation of the counteroffensive would lead to a depletion of the Ukrainian Armed Forces’ resources, and prolongation of the conflict would lead to an even greater reduction in the population of Ukraine due to additional emigration.

At the same time, Beebe noted that a weakening Ukraine will become increasingly dependent on Western countries.
According to him, Kyiv will not be able to independently meet the needs of the “aging and war-crippled population.”
Earlier, Bloomberg stated that Western assistance to Ukraine was gradually drying up.
