Former Lokomotiv president Olga Smorodskaya expressed the opinion that Spartak head coach Guillermo Abascal could not protect himself from dismissal after the 11th round match with CSKA.
“He did not protect himself, he could still be fired and he would be right. Of course, the result of a particular match is an important factor, but the management will consider all aspects as a whole in order to make a decision on dismissing the coach,” RIA Novosti quotes Smorodskaya.
“Spartak” played a draw at home with CSKA (2:2) in the match of the 11th round of the Russian Football Championship. The red-whites scored 17 points and were in sixth place in the standings. The Red-Blues (17) are in seventh place.
Earlier it was reported that the RFU CDC will consider the incident with a ball-fight that pushed CSKA defender Gayich.
