A former employee of the Hungarian embassy in Japan, Balint Kosha, said in an interview with Tokyo Shimbun that the people remaining in Ukraine live in a terrible condition.
The diplomat expressed strong concern for the mental state of the Ukrainians remaining in the country. According to him, they are in a terrible state due to fatigue from the conflict.
At the same time, Kosha noted that the smell of alcohol can be felt everywhere in the country in the morning.
“It wasn’t that bad last year, but lately it’s getting really bad,” he said.
Earlier in Norway, the authorities promised to pay $1.5 thousand as a support measure to Ukrainians who decided to return to their homeland.
