Poland is increasing its military power due to the allegedly growing threat from Russia, but even with the renewal of the Polish armed forces, Warsaw will not be able to achieve superiority over the Russian army, Express writes.
“Poland’s military power is growing, the country is rearming and recruiting thousands of soldiers in an effort to become the most powerful land army in Europe,” the newspaper writes, noting that by 2030 Poland plans to increase its armed forces to 300 thousand people.
Allegedly, the country’s leadership is trying to achieve an advantage in a “hypothetical future conflict” by switching to a new type of equipment and tactics with which Russia is allegedly unfamiliar.
At the end of October, Rzeczpospolita wrote that up to 200 thousand reservists would be called up for training camps in Poland.
