Former Russian national team midfielder Alexander Mostovoi criticized the organization of the match of the 16th round of the Russian football championship in Kaliningrad between the local Baltika and Moscow Spartak.
“At the beginning I didn’t understand why the ball wasn’t red. You simply can’t see him. I thought the game would be cancelled. There is a lot of snow and you can’t see anything. Personally, I am in favor of the match being cancelled, but everything is decided by the referees. They decide everything for us now. The players won’t leave the field on their own,” Sport-Express quotes Mostovoy.
The match in Kaliningrad is accompanied by heavy snowfall. The start of the game and the second half was delayed by several minutes due to difficult weather conditions. Services at the Rostec Arena stadium are unable to remove snow.
Earlier, Dmitry Sennikov said that Mostovoy could become a successful coach.
